I am a writer, coach, and photographer living in Portland, Oregon. My home and my past are in the woods and hills of the Pacific Northwest.

In addition to my work on this blog, my articles have been published by American Swimming Magazine and SwimSwam. One book of poetry is currently available on Amazon, as well as my swimming workout program.
